What is Sharia?

Sharia is Islamic law and signifies the established or untainted interpretation of the Quran and the Hadith (which are the teachings/traditions of Mohammed) as developed by Sharia scholars and jurists during Islam’s early years. It is practiced in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, parts of Nigeria, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Somalia and areas controlled by the Taliban. Also in the Hamas-controlled Gaza strip and al Qaeda-infested regions.

Is Sharia Radical?

The main goal of radical Islam (the political part of Islam) is to implement Sharia globally. Sharia is the draconian part of Islam (political and religious were intertwined intentionally by Mohammed), where true Muslims are required to relinquish all control of personal, family, business, and religious life to the rulings of Sharia authorities (the 'ulema', who are the governing body and law enforcement). The goal is to wage Jihad (whether cultural, financial, or violent) to create a one world Ummah (Muslim unity), where all peoples and governments are united under Islam. A one world Caliphate (global theocratic and authoritarian regime). 

How Does Sharia Apply To Women & Children?

Here's a partial list:

• Arab women may not marry non-Arab men.

• Muslim women must marry Muslim men.

• Female sexual mutilation (circumcision) is mandatory.

• Women may not leave their home without a husband’s permission. 

• Men may beat insubordinate wives (and today's technology provides video instruction).

• Adultery is punished by death by stoning (definitely for women, sometimes for men).

• A woman's testimony in court is only worth half that of a man. (Muslim value of women.)

• Non-Muslim women married to Muslim men may not testify in Sharia courts. (Ah, equity.)

• Rape must be verified by four male witnesses. (Talk about the deck being staked against a woman.)

• Forced child marriage is allowed.

Salivating to sink your teeth into this cultural 'change' yet? Wait...there's a WHOLE lot more to entice you...

Here are a few more examples of the wonderful world of Islamic Law:

• Aggressive, military Jihad is a religious duty.

• Non-Muslims have inferior status in Muslim society (Dhimmis).

• Capital punishment for slandering Islam.

• Capital punishment for apostasy (leaving Islam).

• Capital punishment for homosexuals and lesbians.

• Slavery is legal.

• Lying to infidels (unbelievers) is allowed. It's known as Taqiyyah.

• Polygamy is allowed.
